The great thing about living in San Francisco,
except the simple fact that it is just a beautiful city, is that you
are in direct contact with people from all different horizons. It gives
you a sense that the world is truly diverse but most importantly that
our world can live peacefully together, even if we don't share the same
history, religion, backgrounds.
San Francisco definitely increased my desire for traveling and my interest
to discover new cultures. "Les voyages forment la jeunesse" as we say.
"Beauty is in the Simple." I beleive that
any Simple objects, lines, details has an intact purity by itself, a true nature. Finding the details
that reveal perfection and their true nature, finding the beauty in the
most insignificant object is what excites me and motivates me.
I love geometry and its order, structure: repetition, paralelism of lines. My shots end up being very simple, peacefull,
calm pictures but true to me. Clear lines give sense to anything.
My passion for photography began when one of my 2 older brothers offered me for my 18th birthday a 35mm camera that I have been using since then. The roots of this passion began probably with my parents, a historian and an arts enthusiast, and from my childhood environment in the beautiful green village of Caen, Normandy. Fabriance Tie played too a major role in helping me discovering myself and this passion for photography.
I would love to hear from your feedback on those shots.
Thank you and enjoy.
